At the GNC2 showing, a small outcrop (2 by 3 metres) of chloritic aphanitic andesite of the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group contains quartz sulphide veins with 1 per cent pyrite, 1 per cent chalcopyrite and 1 per cent galena. Mineralization occurs within the quartz veins, of which one sample assayed 15 parts per billion gold, 8.2 grams per tonne silver, 0.042 per cent copper, 0.31 per cent lead, 0.065 per cent zinc and 20 parts per million arsenic (Assessment Report 20030).
